Mohamed Salah Issues Statement to Teammates, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the team after the fallout from his recent interview.

The striker was dropped from a European match subsequent to making accusations and claiming his connection to the head coach had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The head coach has previously declined to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
Jones insisted that the team's response stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
Jones also implied that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “It's clear there are specific approaches you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the matches since the initial controversy. The player is convinced the outburst were not intended to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, playing well and securing victories.”
